Maximum Joy

This band of five is really fun and innovative for its time. Maximum Joy was known for their post-punk, reggae, soul, funk, and jazz sound. Hailing from England, and existing around 1972. The band also uses various vocal distortion techniques. Think Morris Day and the Time if lead by a girl, faster and more angsty.

Matryoshka

Japanese 16 bit analog reverb glitch combined with modern-day, heavy electronic noises. Medium fast BPM's with sexual chorus vocals and melodies. Sen makes the tracks and Calu sings.

Here is their video for Sink Into the Sin, though I highly recommend listening to the tracks Slowsnow or Viridian.

Efiel (Maciek Fil)

Sad melodic electronic noises supplemented with disturbing Polish male and female vocals. Very beautiful with a hint of trauma, perfect beats and key changes but with lingering suspense and samples of real instruments.

My favorite album is Flies in the Fields.

Rei Harakami

A movie sequence, thorough bass lines, somewhat hip-hop beats, Japanese melody, and glitch noises that synch.

Nobukazu Takemura

I don't believe what I just heard. This man is very inspiring, and because of his solo album, "Child's View", I know why. I feel like I am learning about the joy of music all over again, and it is due to Takemura's mix of electronic glitch and playfulness. I wish his songs would last forever.
